Mother's Love

The work is about addressing my grandmother's experience being in and out of the hospital these past few months. This is the first time she has been in a situation like this one. The images focus on her absence from home, the memories kept there, her sense of independence, and her stays in the hospital. While photographing her and the empty spaces of her home, I come to realize how much this has affected her mentally, physically and emotionally.
