True Labor of Love

My work is about my grandmother, who is my rock. I am documenting her as a way of getting to know me, as though I’m a stranger. By recording her and her environment, I explore her world and let her be in a place of vulnerability and to use me as her walking diary. I want the audience to view her the way that I view her, a mysterious figure who is slowly letting us take a glimpse into her world. To look at her and see that I am her and She is me.
